Marissa is a biology major from Bow, New Hampshire. On campus she runs with the Dartmouth Endurance Racing Team, mentors for DREAM, organizes the Women in Science Peer Mentorship program and cooks at Foley House. In the fall of 2011 she will be working with Volunteer Society Nepal in Pepsi-Cola Town-Planning, Nepal. She will be working in a local hospital to provide basic medical care to an underserved population. The hospital was built during the past year with the help of international donations. She will be involved in the propelling the new hospital through this key infancy stage. She is excited to work alongside Nepal physicians and live in the foothills of the Himalayas.
