The former Director of the US Defense Intelligence Agency (2012-2014) addresses key trends in demography, technology, resources and economics that will shape our world in the coming decades. He addresses as well the enduring challenges of turmoil in the Middle East and the vulnerability of our cyber systems.

LTG (R) Michael T. Flynn was the 18th Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency and the top military intelligence officer in the Department of Defense. With more than three decades of intelligence experience, LTG Flynn has served as the Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Partner Engagement, the senior intelligence officer in Iraq and twice in Afghanistan, the Director of Intelligence for the Joint Special Operations Command under General Stanley McChrystal, and as the Senior Intelligence Advisor for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Admiral Mike Mullen.
