Wendy Sherman retired from government service on October 2nd as Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs – a position in which she served as Lead Negotiator in the nuclear talks with Iran. Sherman will participate in a conversation with Daniel Benjamin, Director of the Dickey Center for International Understanding, in which they will discuss the U.S. approach to the negotiations with Iran, the negotiations at home to get the deal done, and what it means for international security and the future of the Middle East.
