Anticipating the American Regime: The Middle East after U.S. Elections

Wednesday, Nov 9  |   4:30pm  |  041 Haldeman Center

Having played a tangible role in the American election debate, the nations of the Middle East anxiously seek indications of the new administration’s direction, intentions and world view. At the same time, new bedfellows and regional realities await the new president who will guide the nation between conflicts that include Israel and the Palestinians; Shia vs. Sunni; The Saudis and Iran; and the global terror of the Islamic State.

Felice Friedson and Michael Friedson, co-founders of The Media Line, the American news agency specializing in coverage of the Middle East, will address the changing dynamics of post-election Mideast policies as they relate to these conflicts.
