Objectives and Application

The Global Health Certificate provides a foundation for careers and advanced study in global health by pairing coursework from across the curriculum with hands-on field experiences.

The Global Health Certificate provides students a framework to demonstrate their knowledge and skills acquired to address complex global health challenges in a changing global environment. The Certificate combines coursework from across the curriculum with a field experience in global health. Students completing the certificate demonstrate an understanding of concepts, methods, and emerging issues in global health through a final capstone project. The Global Health Certificate is open to undergraduate students from all disciplinary backgrounds and may be completed in combination with the Anthropology Minor in Global Health.

You must complete all required and elective courses, as well as a Capstone Project, prior to applying for the Global Health Certificate. Once you have completed all the requirements, email the Global Health Initiative with your capstone paper, transcript, and any other materials in support of your application for a Global Health Certificate by 5pm of the deadline.
