Richard D. Lombard Public Service FellowshipsWith the Tucker Foundation, the Dickey Center administers the Richard D. Lombard, '53 Public Service Fellowship program. The Lombard Fund supports up to a dozen young alumni each year to undertake six to twelve month volunteer community service projects in the United States and around the world. At clinics in Peru, Nepal, and on the Thailand-Burma border, in an orphanage for HIV+ children in Nairobi, at a foundation working for the empowerment of women in rural Argentina or an organization ensuring legal rights for foreign domestic workers in London, for over a decade alumni have been putting into practice the liberal arts education they received at Dartmouth.
OVERVIEW
