The War & Peace Studies Program is designed to inspire the Dartmouth community to think critically about war, arms control and disarmament, collective violence, and conflict resolution strategies. It includes a college minor, a student fellows program, and an annual lecture series on significant disputes of the day.

The Dickey Center and Dartmouth Medical School collaborate on global health to provide many opportunities for you to learn about current worldwide health concerns such as infectious diseases, community and family medicine, and health education.
The Institute of Arctic Studies brings together students, faculty, and the community for seminars, films, panel discussions and other events to consider issues related to climate change and its effects on natural and human systems. The Institute also sponsors college courses in polar studies and student research projects in Arctic regions.
