Mandisa Mkhonto is the founder of Pink Beauties, a retail hair business in South Africa. She is involved in the day-to-day business operations and also focuses on its continual improvement through monitoring business performance, market research, stakeholder interaction, and business promotion. Prior to this she worked in various fields in the economic development sector, gaining ten years’ experience in small business development, local economic governance, and local economic development. Mandisa is a member of Shekinah Glory Ministries where she is involved in youth programs to promote a culture of responsible citizenry through Christian ethos. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she will continue to build her business and sell its model as a franchise to women who have the same passion of being job creators and not job seekers.
