Julia Cohen

Student Programs Intern

Julia Cohen is an ‘18 from New York City. At Dartmouth, she studies anthropology and neuroscience with a specific interest in global and public health. During her junior year, Julia worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as part of the Zika response, helping to mitigate risks for emergency responders. On campus, Julia is a leader of Global Health Fellows, a program that brings together undergraduate and graduate students to discuss topics related to global health and meet leaders in the field. Julia has conducted research in the anthropology department as a James O. Freedman Presidential Scholar as well as in public health clinics in the Himalayas. She is currently working on a senior thesis about gendered labor and cross-cultural caretaking.
