Arctic Innovation Scholars

Passionate about the Arctic, climate change, and sustainability? The Arctic Innovation Scholars program offers you a unique opportunity to tackle pressing environmental challenges alongside a network of fellow students and experts.

As an Arctic Innovation Scholar, you’ll gain access to incredible Arctic knowledge and resources, and you can pursue hands-on experiences through internships, research projects, and more. The Institute of Arctic Studies will connect you with faculty, visiting experts, and Arctic partners to help you make the most of these opportunities.

This program is designed to help you develop your leadership skills, regardless of your major. You may also have the chance to conduct senior thesis research with support from the Institute of Arctic Studies, and you’ll receive a certificate when you complete the program.

Plus, there are opportunities to become a Peer Mentor for future Scholars and to apply for the Arctic-Sustainability Immersion Trip!
