Event Co-Sponsorship

The Dickey Center welcomes the opportunity to co-sponsor different types of campus events (public lectures, conferences, workshops, symposia, etc.) with academic departments, student groups, faculty, staff and other campus centers and institutes. We ask that requests for co-sponsorship be made six weeks prior to the term in which the event would take place.

Lombard Public Service Fellowship

For nearly 25 years, alumni have put the liberal arts education they received at Dartmouth to good use in a range of Lombard Fellowship projects around the world. The Lombard Fellowship supports graduating seniors and first-year Dartmouth alumni, including the professional schools, in public service projects in the U.S. and globally.

Stefansson Fellowship

Overview

The Institute of Arctic Studies awards the Stefansson Fellowship to students who want to pursue a research project that could be enhanced by travel to a Northern community or location. We also consider projects that involve high mountain glacier research or research with another Arctic research center in the U.S. or elsewhere. The objective of the fellowship is to go beyond the limits of library research and provide younger scholars with field experience.

Chase Peace Prize

The Chase Peace Prize was established at Dartmouth College by Edward M. Chase, a native of Lithuania who emigrated to the United States, settling in Manchester, New Hampshire, until his death, in 1939. A philanthropist of many causes, Mr. Chase established the Peace Prize in order to encourage careful reflection on the causes of war and the prospects for peace in the world.
