The John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding is committed to promoting the study of the world at Dartmouth. Course Enhancement and Development funding helps faculty provide students with courses that expose them to different cultural perspectives and voices.
Funds are available for developing new courses or improving existing ones. We support guest lectures, films or the acquisition of materials to enhance courses.
Proposals are evaluated on the degree to which Center support enhances the international dimension of existing courses, or to which a new course adds to the international course offerings at Dartmouth. We will also prioritize requests that align with the Dickey Center’s five main “pillars” of focus: security, environment, gender, global health, and human development.
