Last week, the War and Peace Fellows met with Dr. Karin von Hippel — the Dickey Center’s Magro Family Distinguished Visitor in International Affairs and former Director-General of the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI). Their conversation ranged from post-conflict work in Kosovo and field work in Somalia, to counterterrorism with the State Department and the Global Coalition to Counter-ISIL, to the broader think tank community.
