It’s always great to hear from our postgraduate fellows as they expand their international reach and understanding.
Brooke Nind ’26, a Dickey Center Postgraduate Fellow in International Affairs, is spending her summer working with Sage Experience to co-facilitate a high school leadership program that brings together Ghanaian and international students to tackle local development challenges. Alongside fellow Dartmouth student Sophia Sims ’27, Brooke has been co-teaching workshops and advising student projects on issues ranging from menstrual hygiene education to a tourism master plan for the region.
It can be daunting to pursue a career in international work immediately after graduation, which is exactly why the Dickey Center’s postgraduate fellowships exist: to give recent graduates a structured, supported way to test that path in the field, before going all-in on a career.
Brooke has also made time to explore the country she’s calling home this summer, with Sophia, she hiked Wli Falls, the tallest waterfall in West Africa.
