'Round the Girdled Earth

Join the Dickey Center for International Understanding and campus partners as we take the year to travel 'round the girdled earth—making stops in various regions of the world to learn about current affairs, explore aspects of various cultures, and build community amongst Dartmouth's global community!

About the Program

Events are free and open to all members of the Dartmouth community.

  •     October/November: North America
  •     January/February: Latin America & the Caribbean
  •     March/April: Asia and the Pacific Islands
  •     May/June: Africa
  •     July/August: Europe

Each regional "stop" in the program will offer up a range of ways our community can join in: speakers, topical discussions, and other events based on current affairs/issues in the region AND a range of social and cultural connection opportunities.
