Abdoulaye Ahmat Atim has ten years’ experience in the oil industry and works as a turbines controls specialist for ExxonMobil Chad, where he is also a business skills leadership development candidate. He is the founder of 3ACE Energy and Trading, a startup that focuses on the promotion and development of solar energy in Chad. Atim is currently finishing a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy from the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering 2ie, Burkina Faso. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he wants to promote and improve access to energy and renewable energy in particular, as well as develop it as a leading sector within ExxonMobil Chad.
