Helio Banze has over 10 years of experience in community development, specifically focusing on social investment, community engagement and consultation including sustainability and reporting (GRI) in Mozambique and Malawi. Currently, Helio is a Social Investment Coordinator at Anadarko Mozambique Area1, where he focuses on corporate social investment (CSR), project implementation, and reporting. Helio holds a Master’s Degree in Agrarian Development from Eduardo Mondlane University, where he focused on rural development. Helio is driven by his commitment to social development and one day he hopes to witness completely integrated social protection and equality. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Helio plans to continue his work in social investment with a focus on social protection.
