Kenny Tonga is a radio and television personality and journalist by profession with 15 years’ experience in the media industry. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Power FM 99.7, Lusaka, and co-founder and director of YAR FM 89.9 FM, Kitwe, and the current president of the Alliance Française of Lusaka. Kenny has volunteered on various projects, including Africa Alive, and the Rhythm of Life project organized by Zambia’s Ministry of Health. He is doing volunteer work with Africa Directions, a youth-led organization that addresses the needs of the youth and children. Upon completion of the Fellowship, he plans to continue working with young people and sharing inspiring success stories and experiences through his media organizations. He intends to set up a broadcasting training school within the premises of his media organizations, to offer hands-on training in broadcasting, photography, and entrepreneurship.
