Mr. Kuo Chuan Kung, the founder and Managing Partner of the Asian private equity firm Nexus Point, is one of the most accomplished private equity investors in Asia with 20 years of experience across the region. Prior to Nexus Point, he co-founded MBK Partners, was Partner and Head of Greater China for MBK Partners and helped build MBK Partners into one of the most successful private equity firms in Asia. Prior to MBK Partners, Mr. Kung was a Managing Director of The Carlyle Group and a member of the investment committee for Carlyle Asia Partners. He started his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Hong Kong and New York.
