Mazin Mohamed is a social entrepreneur with over five years of experience in entrepreneurship and tourism, specifically focusing on sustainable tourism. Mazin is the Co-founder and Director of Visit Sudan, where he promotes peacebuilding and community development in rural areas near tourism destinations. He is also the Co-founder of Incitement Sudan, a platform spreading positive change and volunteerism. Mazin is a certified mobile journalist and YouTuber. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Taylor’s University - University of the West of England, where he focused on Corporate Social Responsibility. Mazin also completed active citizens training with the British Council and is leading creative education for children in his community. Mazin is committed to promoting Sudan as a tourism destination and contributing to the country’s economic growth. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Mazin aims to expand his development projects to more areas in Sudan, further promoting entrepreneurship and social and economic development among young people. By 2020, he would like Visit Sudan to be the first rural development and tourism promotion initiative to have implemented projects in each state of Sudan.
