Rujuta Pandit '24

War & Peace Fellows, Student Assistant

Rujuta Pandit is a '24 from Northbrook, Illinois pursuing a degree in Engineering Sciences modified with Public Policy and a minor in International Studies. At Dartmouth, Rujuta is a Vice President and Project Leader for Dartmouth Humanitarian Engineering, a Senior Editor at World Outlook, and has been a War & Peace Fellow since her sophomore year. Her interests are in the intersection of science, technology, and conflict resolution, particularly in how the climate crisis may exacerbate security tensions. As a Rockefeller Center First-Year Fellow, Rujuta interned at the Federation of American Scientists: Day One Project, editing and writing science- and technology- related policy proposals, including an independent proposal to reform nuclear research practices in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. In her free time, Rujuta enjoys baking, reading, and attending concerts and music festivals.
