Samantha Stern

War & Peace Fellows, Student Intern

Samantha Stern is a member of the Class of 2019 from New York City. At Dartmouth, Sam is a government major (with a focus in international relations) and Spanish minor. She is a student leader for the Dickey Center’s War and Peace program, Rockefeller Leadership Fellow, tutor in the Student Center for Research, Writing, and Information Technology, and oral history interviewer for the Dartmouth Vietnam Project. Sam has studied abroad at the Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires and at the London School of Economics. During her off terms, she interned for the New York City Police Department’s Terrorism Threat Analysis Group and the Brookings Institution's Center for Middle East Policy. After graduation, she intends to pursue a career in national security.
