Remote Internship Opportunity

The Office of the President Intern

CARE USA seeks an enthusiastic, hard-working, and analytical intern to partner in the Office of the President in our efforts to end poverty for good. The intern will join our dynamic team in the C-suite to work alongside the CEO and Deputy Chief of Staff. The Office of the President Intern will work in a variety of day-to-day tasks as well as long-term projects in diverse areas within the unit. The intern's primary responsibilities include the following but could grow to encompass far more.

  • Assist in monitoring and routing incoming CEO requests, helping prioritize which requests are most consistent with CARE's mission and strategic imperatives.
  • Process Signature requests to the CEO for contracts, grants, etc.
  • Other: Mail and contact management, and document formatting.
  • Assisting in data analysis and visualization to aid in decision-making.
  • Lead special projects for the OOP to assist CEO preparedness which work with the OOP in managing aspects of the CEOs calendar.

Internship Specifics

Location: Virtual

Duration: 8-10 weeks. 30-40 hours a week during Summer term.

Funding

The standard grant for a remote internship is $1500, meant to help defray expenses while student is engaged in internship opportunity.

To be eligible for funding you must have an "L term" status with the college.
