Iman Bakshi ’28

Global Health and Development Student Assistant

Iman Bakhshi is a proud first-generation member of the Class of 2028 from Tucson, Arizona. She is majoring in Asian Societies, Cultures, and Language with a concentration in Chinese, and hopes to minor in Global Health. At Dartmouth, she is co-president of the Dartmouth QuestBridge Scholars Network, a team coordinator for PIH Engage, and an intern for Collis After Dark. Iman hopes to spread her passion for global health inequities to the Dartmouth community while also deepening her own understanding of health systems in marginalized communities. Inspired by her family’s experience as refugees, she is particularly passionate about ensuring refugees and asylum seekers have proper access to medical care. Outside of school, she enjoys long walks, doing calligraphy, and learning new languages.
