Yung-Chun Chen

Working with Professors Herbert Chang, Brooke Harrington, and Daniel Rockmore. Yung-Chun Chen is supporting research on the offshore financial system, an underexamined sector that plays a significant role in global economic stability and regulatory enforcement. Her work involves curating and integrating large-scale datasets—including ownership registries, global asset movements, and media records—to improve the usability of fragmented data sources and enable rigorous statistical analysis. This effort will generate new evidence on how cross-border financial flows operate and inform policy discussions on taxation, regulation, and security.
