Hrishik Roy ’27

Hrishik Roy is a ’27 from Dhaka, Bangladesh majoring in Government and Quantitative Social Science. He is primarily interested in authoritarianism, refugee crises and aid delivery response, counter-insurgency strategies, and ethno-religious conflicts. During the summer of his freshman year, Hrishik spent the term studying abroad in Italy where he studied the Italian language and gained insights on the lives of refugees and asylum seekers in southern Europe. He is currently working as a research assistant studying the Italian government’s dispersal policy regarding refugee accommodations under Professor Jeremy Ferwerda. Between his work as a research assistant and peer instructor, he can be found hiking with the Dartmouth Outing Club, writing for his blog (which he probably has not done in a while) or stressing about his future plans in academia.
