Global Health Day 2015

Please join us for Dartmouth's second annual Global Health Day, on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, from 4pm - 7:30pm in the Haldeman Center.

Supported through the Dickey Center’s Global Health Initiative, Global Health Day brings together students from across Dartmouth’s campuses to collaborate and showcase their work. The opening networking reception includes a poster session and photo competition. The keynote address will be given by Keith Martin, MD. Dr. Martin is a former member of the Canadian Parliament and the current Executive Director of the Consortium of Universities in Global Health (CUGH). 

Global Health Day concludes with the "Meeting of the Minds" dinner, where undergraduate, graduate, and medical students and faculty discuss global health experiential learning opportunities on and off campus and how we can improve our global health engagement as students and as a university. The dinner is RSVP only with limited available spaces.

About the Competition

A component of Global Health Day is a poster, an essay and a photo contest with cash prizes for first through third places of each competition. Cash prizes are 1st place - $100; 2nd place - $75; 3rd place - $50. All current undergraduate, graduate and professional school students are invited to submit reflective essays, posters or photos about their global health research or experience. Specific submission guidelines are available at the links below.
