Manasi Singh '24

Global Health, Student Assistant

Manasi Singh is a '24 from Cincinnati, OH. At Dartmouth, Manasi is double majoring in politics, philosophy and economics & anthropology. Since her freshman year, Manasi has been part of Dartmouth Coalition for Global Health — a Dickey Center club — for which she is now the co-director. This past summer, Manasi researched the socioeconomic and health implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on the New York South Asian community with the Anthropology department in conjunction and the Endangered Language Alliance organization. Her research focused on data mapping resources in the NY area to allow for more equitable access to healthcare, as well as conversing with local community members to find long-term solutions to health disparities. Manasi hopes to continue to explore the ways in which the economy and government policy play a role in global public health; she is excited to continue working with the Dickey Center to find new ways for global health fellows to engage in the local community through public events and speaker series.
