Minseon Ku's dissertation, "Seeing is Believing: Summit Diplomacy and Public Perception of Security," examines the intersections between summit or presidential diplomacy and people's feeling of insecurity. Her other research interests include security as identity stories and practice with a focus on South Korea's foreign policy, inter-Korea relations, and Northeast Asian region. Her research on summit diplomacy has been published in International Organization and The Hague Journal of Diplomacy. She has contributed policy commentaries in several news media and policy outlets.
