It may be summer here at Dartmouth, but for the War & Peace Fellows still on campus, there’s no shortage of opportunities to dig into today’s global security landscape. They recently sat down with Mallory Stewart — who leads the Council on Strategic Risks after a career that included serving as Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability — for a wide-ranging discussion spanning deterrence, defense spending, and international law, as well as emerging global security challenges from Iran’s nuclear program to space security and ballistic missile defense.
