The Trump administration continues to perpetrate environmental racism by dismantling federal climate tools and freezing research grants that support community-based, justice-oriented environmental work. Similarly, institutions like Dartmouth have historically been direct perpetrators in such colonial practices. This panel will explore opportunities presented by the current political moment to shift climate and health methodologies to frameworks that are feminist, anti-colonialist, and anti-racist. Joining the conversation are Charis Boke and Alexandria Casteel from Dartmouth's anthropology department, and Kenya Lazuli from the New Suns Community Center and Northeast Farmers of Color Land Trust.
