Global Health Internship

The Global Health And Development program offers 8-10 week global health internships funded by Dartmouth's Center for Global Health Equity, explicitly co-designed with global partners each term. Undergraduate, medical, and graduate students are eligible to apply to most opportunities.

Global Health internships engage students in frontline global health and development work to address real world challenges, apply their knowledge, and hone their programmatic and research skills.

Eligibility

Undergraduate, medical, and graduate students are eligible to apply for most Global Health Internships opportunities. Internship candidates must have at least one term in residence remaining following the internship, and undergraduate students must have completed at least three terms on campus at the start of the internship. Students are strongly encouraged to complete one course in global health prior to applying for a Global Health Internship.

All candidates must be able to participate in Pre-departure and Health & Safety sessions the term before.

Application

The Dickey Center Global Health Internship opportunities are explicitly co-designed with global partners each term.  Deadline to apply for Spring Term is late January '25.
