Our digital storytelling intern, Ben Joel '27, is capturing the transformative immersive experiences of our international interns. This summer, he will visit his Dartmouth peers in Costa Rica, Kenya, Kosovo, and Vietnam, as well as at the United Nations in New York. Follow along with Ben as he makes his way around the world, or look for #dickeygoingglobal on social media. You can always follow us on Instagram or Facebook for the latest updates.
Each year, the Dickey Center facilitates 85-100 international internships for Dartmouth students across international peace and security, global health and development, and the arctic and the environment. These cross-cultural experiences have proven life-changing for many of our students, challenging them to examine their worldview and question their assumptions about themselves and others. Learn more about Dickey Center internships here.
For questions about Going Global please contact Peter Jenkinson (peter.w.jenkinson@dartmouth.edu) at the Dickey Center.

"This unique opportunity combines my love for photojournalism and international growth. I look forward to the challenge of navigating new places and immersing myself in different cultures and perspectives. By spotlighting the student experiences offered by the Dickey Center, I hope to bring recognition to the meaningful work of Dartmouth students engaged in communities abroad, and inspire others to consider their own potential impact." – Ben Joel, '27
