EVP Rick Mills to Host Daniel Benjamin at November Town Hall

The Dickey director will discuss center’s programs addressing global security issues.

Executive Vice President Rick Mills will host a community town hall on Wednesday, Nov. 29, with a guest appearance by Daniel Benjamin, the Norman E. McCulloch Jr. Director of the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding.

Mills will present a general administrative update and then turn the floor over to Benjamin, who was ambassador-at-large and coordinator for counterterrorism at the U.S. State Department until 2012, when he took over as Dickey Center director. Benjamin plans to talk about Dickey Center initiatives and global security issues.

Following the presentations, Mills and Benjamin will take questions from the audience. The town hall will begin at noon in Spaulding Auditorium at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.

Mills initiated the town hall series in October 2014 with the goal of fostering a regular, open exchange with members of the Dartmouth community about the future of the College.
