The Brookings Institution has published an article by Dickey postdoctoral fellow George Yin on Chinese leader Xi Jinping. 

"But Chairman Xi is not Emperor Xi. Forces that oppose Xi may be dormant but their powers remain intact, and criticisms of Xi’s administration have been multiplying since the 19th Party Congress."
