Interested in helping Ukrainians as they navigate conflict and crisis in their country?  Below is a list of known organizations and institutions doing work right now in that area, relieving the effects of the existing and emerging humanitarian needs.  This page will be updated as the situation develops.

CARE

CARE provides quality, gender-focused and localized humanitarian assistance to those affected in major crises.

ChildFund

ChildFund's German sister organization, ChildFund Deutschland, has worked in Ukraine for many years and is acting quickly to provide emergency aid to kids and their families.

GlobalGiving Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund

GlobalGiving connects nonprofits, donors, and companies in nearly every country in the world. Donations to this fund will support Ukrainians in need, with a focus on the most vulnerable, including children.

International Organization for Migration (IOM)

IOM is scaling up its humanitarian operations in Ukraine and neighboring countries, providing emergency services in health, shelter, winter supplies, and protection.

IRC (International Rescue Committee)

The IRC helps people affected by humanitarian crises—including the climate crisis—to survive, recover and rebuild their lives, in over 40 crisis-affected countries as well as communities throughout Europe and the Americas.

International Red Cross

The International Committee of the Red Cross – together with its partners in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement – remains active in Ukraine, saving and protecting the lives of victims of armed conflict and violence. ICRC water engineers and doctors aim to help more than 3 million people access clean water and improve the living conditions of more than 66,000 whose homes have been damaged by heavy fighting.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)/
Doctors without Borders

MSF provides medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. 

Project HOPE

Project HOPE works on the front lines of the world's most urgent health challenges, partnering with communities, health care workers, and public health systems to ensure sustainable change.

Sunflower of Peace

Sunflower of Peace Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to helping Ukrainians affected by the Russian military invasion.

UNHCR

The UN Refugee Agency, with responsibility for refugees worldwise, led by the United Nations.

UNICEF

A United Nations agency working in over 190 countries and territories to save children's lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfil their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.

UN World Food Program

WFP launched an emergency response operation to provide urgently needed food assistance to people fleeing the violence.

Urgent Action Fund for Women's Human Rights

The Urgent Action Fund is helping support women, transgender, and nonbinary activists on the ground in and around Ukraine, by providing flexible funding, access to communication channels, and medical support.

World Central Kitchen

WCK is serving thousands of fresh meals to Ukrainian families fleeing home as well as those who remain in the country, They are often first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises.
