Professor Jeff Friedman, faculty advisor for World Outlook

We are excited to announce that Jeff Friedman, Associate Professor of Government and part of the Initiative for Global Security team, will be the '23-'24 faculty advisor for World Outlook, Dartmouth's student-run, peer-reviewed international affairs journal.

Professor Friedman's research examines the politics and psychology of foreign policy decision-making. He is the author of two books, the soon-to-be-published "The Commander-in-Chief Test: Public Opinion and the Politics of Image-Making in U.S. Foreign Policy" (Cornell, 2023), and "War and Chance: Assessing Uncertainty in International Politics" (Oxford, 2019).

Professor Friedman is a highly respected scholar in the field of international relations, and passionate about mentoring students and helping them to develop their research skills.
