Global Health and Development

Global Health and Development (GHAD) works across Dartmouth to bring health equity and poverty alleviation to the world's population through multidisciplinary education, research, and service.

GHAD pursues solutions to critical challenges and trains the next generation of global health and development leaders, working with Dartmouth's five schools (College of Arts and Sciences, Geisel School of Medicine, Tuck School of Business, Thayer School of Engineering, Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies) and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, our affiliated academic hospital with a network of partners around the world.

GHAD also collaborates with mission-aligned centers across campus, including Geisel's Center for Global Health Equity, Tuck's Center for Health Care, the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact, and the Dartmouth Center for the Advancement of Learning, among others.
