Jessica is broadly interested in understanding how environmental factors regulate cyanobacterial abundance and toxicity across aquatic ecosystems. She is currently investigating variation in cyanobacteria and cyanotoxins across polar lakes in southwestern Greenland and the potential for transfer of these toxins within aquatic food webs and into terrestrial systems.
