Lauren E. Culler

Research Assistant Professor
Science Outreach Coordinator

Lauren is a Research Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies and the Science Outreach Coordinator at Dartmouth's Institute of Arctic Studies. She studies the impacts of rapid environmental change on population and community dynamics in northern ecosystems. Her current projects include testing how Arctic warming impacts insect-wildlife-human interactions and measuring and modeling how climate change affects the availability of thermally-suitable habitat for brook trout. In addition to research, Lauren is Co-PI on a NSF grant for international science outreach in Greenland and she teaches in Dartmouth's Environmental Studies Program. Prior to arriving at Dartmouth, she earned a B.S. in Zoology and an M.S. in Entomology from the University of Maryland.
