Leland Hemgren '25

Leland Hemgren is a member of the class of 2025 at Dartmouth College and studies International Relations and Russian. He focuses his studies on international security. Leland is a U.S. Army Special Operations wounded veteran who continues to serve within a nominative unit in the Army Reserves. Leland held positions as an enlisted team member and non-commissioned officer, deploying twice to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel. At Dartmouth, Leland is the President of the Student Veterans Association and a member of the Dartmouth Rugby Football Club. He is a War and Peace Fellow hoping to work in foreign service following graduation.
