Madeline Sawyer '24

Great Issues Fellow, International Peace & Security

Madeline Sawyer '24 (she/her) is from Burlington, Vermont. As an undergraduate at Dartmouth, she majored in Government, with minors in International Studies and Public Policy. Madeline conducted research on immigration and healthcare as a James O. Freedman Presidential Scholar and served as President of the Dartmouth Democrats. She was also an arts writer for The Dartmouth, a dancer in the Dartmouth Dance Ensemble, and plays the violin. Madeline's involvement in the Dickey Center as a War and Peace Fellow fostered her passion for issues of international conflict and cooperation. She is thrilled to work as a post-baccalaureate fellow for international security at the Dickey Center.
