Madeline Sawyer

Madeline Sawyer '24 (she/her) is from Burlington, Vermont. As an undergraduate at Dartmouth, she majored in Government, with minors in International Studies and Public Policy. Madeline conducted research on immigration and healthcare as a James O. Freedman Presidential Scholar and served as President of the Dartmouth Democrats. She was also an arts writer for The Dartmouth, a dancer in the Dartmouth Dance Ensemble, and plays the violin. During her time as an undergrad, Madeline interned at the Brookings Institution's Center for Effective Public Management and Senator Shaheen's Washington, D.C. office. Madeline's involvement in the Dickey Center as a War and Peace Fellow fostered her passion for issues of international conflict and cooperation. She is thrilled to work as a post-baccalaureate fellow for international security at the Dickey Center.
