Sophia Sims '27

Sophia Sims is a '27 from Berkley, Michigan, majoring in Geography with a minor in Public Policy. She is passionate about advancing women's rights, promoting equitable access to education, and fostering sustainable international development, with her interests centered at the intersection of social justice and global policy.

This past summer, Sophia interned with buildOn in Kasungu, Malawi, where she conducted research on an adult literacy program. Outside of academics, she is an active member of the women's club water polo team and enjoys spending her free time outdoors.
