Professor Kendall Hoyt, the Faculty Director for our Pandemic Security Project, is one of the 35 practitioners and scholars who co-authored the new book “Lessons from the Covid War: An Investigative Report” exploring the US pandemic response and how we can do better. Special Envoy Hanna Tetteh

Masih Alinejad
The Dickey Center and the Dartmouth Political Union (DPU) student group hosted Iranian-American journalist and activist Masih Alinejad on February 8. She was the second speaker in our Dissent & Democracy series spotlighting international dissidents and the first guest of the DPUs Democracy Summit initiative. Arguing against Gender Apartheid in Iran, she made the case for an end to the oppression of women, and urged students to speak up for human rights. Learn more about her visit here.

Working in partnership with the Irving Institute for Energy and Society we're excited to host a workshop on "Powering Peace: Supporting Renewable Energy in Fragile States" focused on realizing plans to reduce the carbon footprint of the UN Peacekeeping Operations.
