Anne Witkowsky
We were delighted to have Anne Witkowsky, Assistant Secretary of State for Conflict and Stabilization Operations, spend time with our Great Issues Scholars and War & Peace Fellows during a visit to Dartmouth. In addition to discussing career paths in government with Dickey Center Director Victoria Holt, Ms. Witkowsky talked at length to our students about her current work preventing atrocities and promoting global stability.
The Dickey Center joined the Jewish Studies and Middle Eastern Studies programs in holding two packed public events discussing the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
The goal was to deepen understanding by bringing together both personal experiences and scholarly interest, said Chair of Jewish Studies, Professor Susannah Heschel. Read more.
