I oversee several global health programs at Dartmouth with a focus on promoting health equity. I have worked in domestic and international TB control for over 20 years with expertise in program management, disease surveillance, monitoring and evaluation, and clinical care. I am the former Director of Surveillance for the New York City Department of Health's TB Control Program. As an international TB consultant, I have worked in over a dozen countries to provide technical assistance to national TB programs. I have been a co-investigator on several clinical and operations research trials on TB and HIV through the DarDar Programs, a collaboration between Dartmouth and Muhimbili University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In 2012, I spent 6 months in Rwanda as Geisel's lead to launch the major medical education initiative, the Rwandan Human Resources for Health Program. I am currently engaged with local partners in Swaziland to better understand the social context of TB patients and their families, and to improve delivery of TB care services to children and persons living with HIV.
