The John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth is pleased to welcome three new members to its board of visitors this fall: Dr. Claire Wagner '10 is Head of Corporate Strategy and Market Access at the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute where she supports the execution of the CEO's vision and serves as a member of the leadership team. She leads the institute's global access strategy across the portfolio as well as related engagement with commercial partners, financial institutions, and multilaterals.
[more]Ambassador Erica Barks Ruggles: Fall '24 Magro Family Distinguished Visitor in International Affairs
August 20, 2024Our fall '24 Magro Family Distinguished Visitor in International Affairs was US Ambassador to Rwanda from 2015-18, and most recently lead the successful US effort to rejoin UNESCO. Amb. Ruggles will teach INTS 80.04: "Diplomacy in a Complex World."

The John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding lauds a new, sustaining endowment from Georgina "Gina" Tugwell Russo '77 P'08 and Thomas "Tom" A. Russo '77 P'08 for the Great Issues Scholars (GIS) Program. Their gift of $1.1M will underwrite one of the Dickey Center's signature student programs and strengthen our commitment to support international understanding at Dartmouth.
